Hello, I would like to learn more about capillary electrophoresis and I need to buy a book. The offer is very wide and I cannot suggest which book is the best for starting with CE. I never worked with CE but I think that it could help me to solve problems with some analytes which are difficult tasks for HPLC (tartrate, gluconate, polyions - all in very complex matrices - i.e. polar and UV absorbing componds). I welcome any advice.

Agilent Technologies have two very useful CD roms which contain a good introduction to the theory as well as many applications. Contact your local distibutor and they will send you them for free.

If you are not familar with the technique CEC is the chromatography version of CE where packed capillaries are used.
