I need help to identify/devise a method suitable for the detection/separation of sugars and PEG(200-6000) by HPLC/IC. I will shortly start to work on the performance of solutions of these sugars/PEG in the dewatering-impregnation soaking (DIS)of meat.

PEG 3350 and Electrolytes for Oral Solution is listed in the USP which should be available at your library.

What is USP?

USP (United States Pharmacopoe) is the bible for most of us. For Food applications you should start to check out applications databases from column manufacturers, Journal of Chromatography and so on. On our HPLC database you will find a lot of applications for detection of sugars and PEG by HPLC/IC and other separation modes in Fish, Meat and others. www.tosohbiosep.com for the USA, www.tosohbiosep.de for Europe. Good luck.
