I'm creating a search engine that is specific to Liquid Chromatography related sites, and I'm interested in feedback from the forum.I'm trying to make it an effective tool for finding LC related data/web sites, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bravo! I think the world is ready for dedicated engines. How we can support them, I don't know, but we need only a few. It just isn't practical to search every manufacturer site one by one to find what is needed. Maybe the manufacturer's pay a reasonable registration fee, instead of burning and mailing CD's, or printing app notes we can't easily store or use??

It would be wonderful to search all the application databases at one time for a particular chemical, column, widget. Can you do a metasearch using the manufacturer's site search engines?

A lot of high quality analytical information is tied up behind expensive subscription sites, also. An organization, or individual, can only afford to subscribe to so many journals, not to mention the time it takes to read them.
