I'm facing a tailing problem for the isomer separation using a reverse phase mobile phase with chiral-agp column. Can anybody suggest me to get a good peak shape.

Dear PDS;

All the chiral protein-based columns tend to give tailing signals. The usual approach to improve peak shapes, if enough resolution is achieved, is to try some pH change. Be careful when you do this not to exceed the column limits, I do not remember what they are for AGP. I know that some of them, such as HSA and BSA, drastically improve resolution and peak shape when an additive such as pentanoic acid is included in the mobile phase.

Good Luck;

Benjamin
