What third party software is available to control and acquire data from a 1090 HPLC ? We now use a Pascal Chem Station and want to convert.

One possibility is one of the more recent HP ChemStation (I believe the later generations of the 1090 used the Windows-based version). I don't know how much (if any) retrofit to your hardware would be required.

You might also look at Chrom Perfect (Justice Innovations) and EZ Chrom (SSI); both of those are "general purpose" programs. They will handle the data aquisition, but you'd have to check with the suppliers on the control question.

We upgraded our 1090M from Pascal to Windows-based Chemstation last year. All parts were available from HP (a firmware upgrade is required). It's working quite well, and it was fairly reasonable in price.
