Has anyone with Agilent 1100s, who has "upgraded" (if it can be deemed as such) to v5.01 of the firmware experienced any hardware issues. In particular with older autosamplers needing to have arms replaced. I think it is coincidence that we started getting problems when the firmware was updated, but I need to reassure my collegues.

If I am not mistaken, V5.01 was a beta revision. You can now get 5.03 which is the "official" release. We have not had any problems with either rev. though.

1100 Firmware version A.05.04 is the latest official release but it is only compatible with software version A.08.04 or greater. When you download the firmware also download the firmware history file which gives info on all fw releases.
