Hi,
the USP 26 method for Isoniazid Injection gives a very broad peak only after 30 min or so. The method uses sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate in the mobile phase. Should I stick to this (perhaps lowering its concentration or adding MeOH), or use another ionpairing agent ?
I work in a regulated environment, that's why I try to follow official methods like USP...
Thanx for your suggestions

Check what the column is that USP is using. I bet that this explains the difference. Most USP assay use microBonapack C18, which gives much lower retention.
