Are there any good columns for separations of derivatizing amino acid ( derivatized on SH side )? Thanks.

What is your derivitizing agent? What is the pH of the derivitizing agent? What is your mobile phase pH?

The reason I am asking these questions is to help you choose a column. For example, OPA/BME derivitizing procedures call for a column that is good at high pH. That's be a polymeric column or Waters XTerra since you need to work at pH 6.5 - 7.0 and the solutions are at pH 9 or so.

How about using NPM derivitizing procedures? How to increase the retention times of these derivatized compounds?
