I do a routine test, and the method is stable. The response of main peak is about 0.8, but it is 0.2 as I test, and when I change anthor HPLC,the response is 0.8,the mobile phase, column and sample solution is same, the wavelength is 280nm.When wavelength is 210nm,the response is normal,I don't know the reason. Can anyone give me some advice? thanks.

Maybe there was some absorbing material in the detector cell, rinse your detector cell and start-up again. Maybe there is a initial calibration, and if there was absorbance on the start up, you cant get good results.

Please check your detector lamp energy with the time of lamp installed if it is reduced to below limit replace the lamp.
