I am developing a dual wavelength HPLC method.
The Waters manual states that the sampling rate is reduced from 10 Hz in single wavelength, to 1 Hz in dual wavelength.
Does anyone have experience with dual wavelength analysis using the 2487?
How does the dual wavelength mode sensitivity compare with single wavelength?
Thanks for your help,
Lisa

Sampling rate in dual mode is 1 pt per sec. Sampling rate and sensitivity are not really connected. To do good integration, you need 15 to 20 points across the peak, so unless you are doing fast chromatography, 1 pt per sec is usually good enough.
