Does anyone have any experience with Jasco instruments? Any recommendations for HPLC systems or fluoroescence detectors?

Yes, our lab has both old and new Jasco equipment (2 autosamplers, UV detector, 3 fluorescence detectors, 1 pump) and it's all great! Their equipment is very neat and compact (a bonus in our rather small lab!)
We have evaluated the Jasco fluorescence detectors against other manufacturers and have always found the Jasco detectors to be vastly superior in terms of sensitivity (and indeed, reps from other HPLC equipment manufacturers usually acknowledge that Jasco fluorescence detectors are the best)
We have recently purchased a semi-micro pump for use with microbore columns and we are delighted with it.
Best thing would be to ask your local Jasco rep to arrange an on-site demo then you can see for yourself.
Best wishes
Ann

A Waters 2475 fluoresence detector will outperform (sensitivity wise) the Jasco FLD. Try them out side by side if you are a non-beliver.

I've no experience of the Waters 2475, or indeed any other Waters fluorescence detector. As Anon says, best way to truly evaluate sensitivity differences between two instruments is to run them in series.

What PQ requirements do users have for fluorescent detectors?

We would like to purchse the new HPLC system.
We will be highly obliged if we get the comparision between Waters Alliance HPLC system &
Agilient 1100 series HPLC system.
