Does anyone have a recommendations for a USP L36 column? (A 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl derivative of L-phenylglycine covalently bonded to a 5um aminopropyl silica)

That sounds like a general description of the original "Pirkle" type column. Check with Regis Technologies, Morton Grove, IL. I believe they were the original commercial source for that column.

There are 93 searchable "Pirkle" type Chiral hplc columns found at www.chromatography.net. You should be able to find what you are looking for very quickly. You can also compare them side-by-side if you wish.

Vendors names, tradenames and part numbers are available with only a couple mouse clicks.

Hope this helps.
