Dear All,

Can anybody suggest on chiral chromatographic conditions for the following molecule.

(S,S)-2,8 Diaza bicyclononane

Can we separate them by RPLC?

Please advice.

No, We didn't have the equipment with us.
Can't we separate them by RPLC or chiral HPLC?

Thank you

I think you can use for example Chiralcel OD - it resolves about 85% of enantimers. In this way? the mob/ phase is ...mmm... hexane-isopropanol-triethylamine 80-20-0.2 or somethihg of this kind. The problem is - how to detect? Refractometer?

You cant separate the enantiomers w RP. Why not
contact the tech services of a chiral column
manufacturer (eg ASTEC,Daicel )and see if they
will run your sample on their columns. You'll end
up w a column and mobile phase suggestion
