Hello
Our lab is thinking of getting Waters Millenium32 software to run our HP 5890II GC. We already have our HPLC setup using Millenium 32. I would like to know if anyone is currently running their HPLC & GC at the same time, using the Millenium software. Any information on what we would need to configure our system to run and collect data is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Nicole,
I currently use Millenium32 for both purposes. However, I only collect data from the GC (old, old PE Sigma 300). To collect data you'll need a SAT/in module. I believe Waters offers equipment/software for controlling your particular GC. The settings for data collection are typical and intuitive. Processing data is pretty much the same between HPLC and GC. Good luck.

We have Waters Millenium with the Alliances. We are experiencing difficulties running the HP5890 GC simultaneously with the Alliance(both on the same LAC/E box). Other than that, once you get configured correctly with a Satin for the GC, the GC will run no problem.

M32 is okay...It certainly does the job, however to get it to follow templates can be a bit of a nightmare if you don't know what you're doing. It's not the most user friendly of packages but is CFR21P11 compliant.
