I am trying to quantify the content of matrine and oxymatrine in the radix sophorae. However, I tried the HPLC with NH2 column and I found the difficulty to resolve the target peak from other related alkaloid such as sophocarpine and oxysophocarpine. I want to know any suggestion can improve the separation or an alternative method can achieve my goal.
I am wondering the possibility of GC/MS method?
