I am currently testing the validity of the method sent to our company. One of the ingredients in codeine phosphate tablets formulation is "Sodium Docusate". The sample is dissolved in mixture of ACN:Water.
Would you expect 100% recovery of the codeine phosphate ?? The mobile phase used to run the analysis contains "another ion-pairing reagent", ie. Sodium Heptane sulphonic acid, reversed phase column is used.

Your comments will be much appreciated
