Can anyone help me with a mobilephase that can seperate D3 and E vitamin. I am using ACN:MeoH:H2O
70:20:10, but the seperation is not good enough.

Regards
Kim

Hi Kim,

We have a HPLC method for quantifying vitamin A, A-palmitate, A-acetate, D2, D3, E, E-acetate. We use a Zorbax Eclipse XDB-C8 column and a mobile phase gradient of water and methanol. With this method vitamin D2 and D3 can not be separated.

You may want to look at the Alltech Prevail C18 literature. It looks like they are using 75% ACN 25% MeOH with their column and it seems to separate fine. www.alltechweb.com
