We are just about to start a project which will involve the analysis of liposomal products. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to find established, robust basic methods, that we could use as a starting point for our materials?

A lot depends on what you want to analyze. API, encapsulated vs. free, liposome components (lipids, etc.), leakage rate, …. Maybe all of the above. Please be more specific.

Thanks for your response, I guess we are looking to analyse 'all of the above'. What we are most interested in for now is stability testing of the loaded liposomes and measuring any breakdown of the liposomes. We have methodology for our API, but no experience in liposomes and how they may degrade. I hope this helps set the scene a bit better. I look forward to your response.
