Hi, I recently began my PhD and have inherited a collection of HPLC equipment. My main system is a Beckman System Gold with the Nouveau Gold software. My problem lies with the Hitachi F1080 Fluorescence detector which I need to use as part of my project (i have no manuals or cables for this). My question is how do I link in the FD into my system. I have the Beckman Remote interface board (screw top terminals) and my computer has the SS420 board installed. If anyone has any advice as to what exactly I need cable/connector wise to pipe in the analog signal from the F1080 into the data system would be greatly appreciated.

have u tried to contact the concered companies?..hitachi...they will be the best persons to solve the problem..probably you can download the manual from their website.
