I need HPLC-Methods to characterise the extract of hamamelis v.L. (gallic acid, hamameltannine, cyanidine, catechine, flavones

HILIC, hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography is likely a suitable technique for these hydrophilic and polar compounds.

It is certainly worth a try.

Before I would go to HILIC, I would satisfy myself first that standard reverse-phase HPLC won't work. Run a standard pH-gradient with acetonitrile and a collection of standards of your compounds at acitic pH, maybe with phosphate at pH 2, unless you want to use MS. All these compounds will work well on a reversed-phase column, maybe even better on one of those EPG phases or Atlantis C18. Only if you do not get retention of your compounds (unlikely!). I would recommedn to go to HILIC.
