If we create a sequence in ChemStation on one of our clients and run it, the first injection acquires with no problems and generates results. However, for all subsequent injections, even though they run for the correct length of time, do not generate any results. Examination of the logbook for the runs/sequence shows that no signal file could be found for these runs.
Has anyone else seen this (we have ChemStation A.09.01/ChemStore B.02.01 with Security Pack in Client Server config, but only one client is being affected). I have contacted Agilent, but they haven't been able to replicate the problem. IQ runs OK, so it doesn't appear to be corruption of the software.

Probably you are not using the same acquisition method for the rest of runs, can you check that?

IT can be a silly advice but did you check your disk capacity ?? Also you may check data file name from the sequence parameters window.

Which file is being saved? Is it the first or the last?

Method is specified in sequence, so method loaded each time.
Disk space is fine - about 6GB free. Data file name is prefix/counter, using same convention as other clients which work OK.
It's the first run that is being saved. All other runs create a data file directory, but there is no signal file in it.
Also nothing is being transferred to ChemStore after the first run because of this, so can't get anything back from there except the first run.

Did you erase the old file before restarting the sequence?
Do you create a ChemStore report at the same time?
We got a similary problem. The creation of report in ChemStore froze the station and we lost all injections except the first one.

This is a common problem in chemstation . This is due to non-transfer of raw data to chemstore. software glitch. shut down the PC and redo.

We have had the same kind of problem. In a Sequuence we have lost two chromatograms that have been injected (due to vial sept shows an injection), but chemstation and chemstore doesn't have the run and then other samples change the name because they are injected in sequence.
