Hi,

I'm a PhD student at the UEA in Norwich and have inherited a Beckman System Gold and a Hitachi F1080 detector. I have got the system set up and functioning properly except for the trigger. If anyone has experience of setting up trigger mechanisms on the Beckman System Gold I would love to hear from you. I have contacted Beckman and they have said that without seeing the system they can't really help. Obviosly my supervisor is balking at paying there callout charge so I thought someone else may be able to help. I have the SS420 and TP420 black box. I can see the analog output from the FD on the preview option but when I come to start a run it comes up with waiting for trigger. How can I make the autosampler (507e) inject and then trigger data aquistion.
