Hello Users,

im looking for an method to determinate salvinorin (divinorin in salvia divinorum (the sage). Have anybody a rapid method to quantificate this substance in salvia divinorum??? i am also looking for lc/ms methods..... thanks a lot

Salvinorin is quite hydrophobic and has no ionizable groups, so any reverse phase column with high concentration of organic 50-70% in the mobile phase will give a good method. Compound is UV active too. Normal phase chromatography can be used as well with hexane/alcohol. All methods are MS compatible. Ionization can be a problem though.
