I found in my laboratory a "Nucleosil C18 AB 100-5" but i need, for my researches, a simply C18 column. Is mine equivalent? Which limits does it have?
Thanks Dario

PS.:
Unfortunatly we lost the manual of our HPLC (it's an old "LDC analytical constametric 3200" with an UV detector "LDC analytical spectromonitor 3200"). Can anyone help us?

The Nucleosil C18 AB has polymer modification to suppress interaction with -SiOH groups.
Compared to the "normal" Nucleosil C18 it should be more stable at higher pH ranges (don't have exact data).
For more information you should take a look at http://www.macherey-nagel.de
