See ThermoQuest's HyperREZ Carbohydrate H+ column. You can use it to separate ethanol from any other alcohols in your sample. There is also a specific alcohols column. Ring their UK tech support lady and ask her to send you some details - she's very obliging. (+44 1928 588088)
