What additional tests should be made during the validation of a method, which involves internal standard (compared to the usual standard/sample method)

I will greatly appreciate your suggestions

atleast the the recovery of internal standard. spike the placebo samples to different concentrations at the point you usually add the standard (before extraction?). Calculate % recoveries of the int stand.
