In the middle of a reverse-phase C-18 HP run, my
Internal Standard peak height increased by about 10%
and remained steady at this new height. Threw off my
quants. What could have caused this?

How about peak area? Did it increase too, or remain constant?

Maybe your internal standard wasn't dissolved for the full 100%.
