I like to know if anyone has used either
of these colums and which is better for epoxie resins?

Manufacturers' claims notwithstanding, my experience is that all the styrene-divinylbenzene columns are pretty much the same. I have used Phenogel columns extensively and they have worked quite well. Only problem I've had is what appears to be water bound to the column which varies by packing lot and can really mess up the chromtography (at least with poloxamers and PEGS). I've heard that this is a problem with other manufacturers' columns also, although I don't know if it is with PL Gel. In any case, this may or may not affect the chromatography with epoxy resins. If it does, I have a neat trick which removes bound water and restores column performance to better than new conditions. Let me know via e-mail if you're interested.

Regards.
