I have a Gilson 231xl autosample and the needle needs aligning. Has anyone any ideas about the procedure for alignment? I believe it is a software procedure. If so where can I get the software? I'm sure Gilson won't let me have it.

I'd at least ask Gilson. Worst thing they can do is say "no" in addition to "we won't help you at all" and that would leave you where you are now...so nothing to lose by phoning them.
