Hi All,

I have a simple question for real chromatographic experts in a QC/Regulatory enviorenment.

What is the right/accurate abbreviation for a cation exchange HPLC method? Is it CEC-HPLC or HP-CEC? or CE-HPLC??Specially when you are filing a NDA.

Thanks in advance!

Don't use CEC. It is commonly used for capillary electro chromatography.

I would suggest SCX or WCX for strong or weak cation exchange respectively.
