Dear colleagues,
Have any of you had experience using DIAMIR chromatography software and Hercule interface which was released by JMBS (http://www.jmbs-inc.com) earlier this year?
Based on a demo CDROM and some literature it looks very good, and I am thinking of buying it to upgrade our HP 1090 and two Waters 510 gradient systems which use good, though somewhat old software at the moment. I am therefore seeking opinions on this potential purchase.
Thank you for your time,
Tony.

I am currently participating in a demo of their newest software release and should have more info in the next 2-4 weeks. This software was chosen to demo over several others, including Millenium and Turbo Chrom mainly for use with HP 1090's and 1100's. I will try to update as the demo continues.

Dear Tony,
You have to take care about any answer concerning Diamir, only trust what you see, on the previous message probably a bad competitor who is jealous about Diamir success used my initial JME, he will certainly come back with bad comments about Diamir. If you look in details, he made a big mistake since Millenium and Turbo chrom will never control HP1090. In the other hand as you see he has no email address... anyway do your best choice...

Before I was even able to work with this software, I was sold on it over the other choices available and what I have worked on in the past. My company (pharmaceutical) is looking at this package to replace an outdated one that is cumbersome and not all-inclusive for system suitability tests, custom calculations and the like. I have worked with DIAMIR for a couple of days now and already like it over what I have used in the past. The navigation is very straight forward (everything is presented on one page, not multiple windows), as well as the graphics. The integration and the report designer are very customizable and easy to use. It is also all inclusive of system suitability tests and easy to develop custom calculations, which is very important to our company. I do agree with Mr. Escalon in the fact that if you can get first-hand experience with this software, do it and see for yourself if it fits your needs. If you would like my e-mail, let me know and I would be happy to contact you. By the way, my initials really ARE JME. Thanks!

Dear JME,
It certainly looks as if DIAMIR has many advantages over other chromatography software. I would quite like your e-mail address, so we can discuss the software further. My e-mail address is at the top of this page.
Regards,
Tony
