During qualification we used Shimadzu's spec of 45-85% RH, as found in the manuals. Upon execution we found that our lab is routinely outside of this range on the low side (~15-70%RH). Is there a scientific reason for setting the low spec at 45%? This seems rather high as compared to all other lab equipment.
