We are looking at buying a new HPLC and can get the Shimadzu LC2010 with LC solutions software at a very good price, has anyone got any comments on this system or software package?

I think it's one of the best systems around. The rotorseal is made of hard material and the carry over is very low because of a coated needle. Very easy to do maintenance everything is at the front, and a extra valve for cleaning the flow-way. There is also a build-in validation function, to be done over night. I'm used to work with the LC2010 together with the software Ez-Chrom, but LC-solution is made for all Shimadzu products and very popular in Japan.
