Hello,
I am looking for possibilities for a PhD in Canada. I am biochemist and my field is mass spectrometry and proteomics. Recently, I got my MSc degree in biochemistry of proteins. I am 27.
Thank you in advance.
Liudy

Hi,
I would suggest just looking at the websites of chemistry and biochemistry departments and see if the research descriptions posted for faculty people are anywhere near your interests.
Sounds like you would need to look at chemistry, biology and biochemistry departments. The University of Alberta chemistry department is supposedly the principal center for mass spec. in Canada. A person Fiona Brinkman at Simon Frasier is a quite big proteomics person in Canada. There is a fellow Richard Oleschuk at Queen's University in Chemistry who is into separation of proteins and other things on a micro-scale and just got some new MS equipment.
this is all I know, and hope this helps,
Dave
