I have some Green Tea samples that claim various amounts of polyphenol content. I'm looking for an HPLC (RP) method to verify polyphenol claims. Any help would be appreciated.

I remember seeing some LC and tea-related studies on Shimadzu's listing of application notes.

Check the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. Many, many articles on Green tea have been published there over the past several years. and there are several methods of polyphenol analysis I've seen. E-mail me at juddman@peconic.net if you like and I'll dig a few up and fax them to you as I've got quite a few back issues.

Good Luck,

Chris
