We have manged to run a method with 65%MeOh35%THF as the needle wash on a Shimadzu LC10 HPLC, however when we change the needle wash for the next analysis (e.g. to MeOH/H2O) at some point during the next run the ceramic plates in the dilutor dry out and stick. Has anyone got some ideas on the best method for flushing THF based mobile phases and needle washes out of an HPLC system?

You should be using a 50:50 mixture of MeOH and H2O for flushing. I believe that it is also stated in the User's Manual.
