Has anyone any recommendations for the analysis of oxalate/oxalic acid. Currently beginning with a BIORAD column. Have been told it spent some time in the fridge with ends sealed with parafilm. This rings all kinds of alarm bells!

Initial analysis shows peaks of oxalate and the KNO3 backing reagent but they are broad and not baseline resolved.

Thinking of the newer column chemistries, so thought welcome

How about Shandonīs (now Hypersil a ThermoQuest company) Hypercarb column? They have good instructions for its use with oxalic. If you canīt find that, let me know so that I can dig out info in my old files.
