Hello, everyone,

I am developing an ESI-LC-MS/MS method for Diclofenac. The MP is methanol/0.1% acetic acid (70/30). Agilent XDB C18. On system 1, peak tails very slightly; on system 2, the peak tails a lot and it becomes worse and worse with more injections. CTC autosampler, Thermo Discovery MS, fused silica transfer line.

Using 1mM ammonium acetate buffer as aq. portion does not help peak shape.

Does diclofenac chelate? Or does it have different conformation?

Thanks for your reply!

Jimmy
