Any ideas on how to analyze residual pTSA and pTS-Cl in pTS-anydride? I have tried some NP-LC but pTSA does not come off the column and its not volatile enough to use GC. I know I can determine the pTS-Cl by titration and I am currently doing some near-IR experiments as well, but I would like to do it by LC if possible. Any ideas???

SEC with the smallest pore DVB column that you can get. Check at Waters or Polymer Labs!

Yes. Separation of a styrene monomer from a styrene dimer.

Otherwise, I do not see any way that this could be done with a LC technique. Of course, if somebody else has a better idea, please feel free to post it. Jerry needs it...
