Hi!
I have a method which mobile phase is 20% THF. O doubt that the THF can actually harm the column cause the column can easily faced high pressure problem if it does not flush 24 hours with distilled water.

TQ!

THF can be used on RP columns without too many problems. Be aware that some THF is stabilized with BHT, which will retain and eventually elute off the column.

We use THF routinely with RP columns, when necessary to produce better separations, no issues. We use non-stabilized THF.

be carefull, the major problem may be the peek parts of your system (visible and unvisible injection loop, detector flow cell)which wont apreciate this so high level of THF.

In addition to the detector flow cell, the autosampler injection stator is commonly made of polymeric material (e.g., Tefzel) that is prone to polymeric swelling w/THF. PEEK tubing and fittings can also be susceptible.
