Please help I have never done this before and I am having a mental block as to where to start. I have collected information on SPE Sep-Pak and Oasis HLB Sorbent methods. I am confused about what type of solvents to use to condition, wash and elute the columns with. I know it is based on the polarity between your sample and the solvents used but where do I begin?? I am cleaning up herbicide samples( bromacil, diuron, dicamba, picloram, terbacil, tebuthiuron) which have been extracted from the ASE in methanol and acetone. Currently we have just been centrifuging the samples straight from the ASE and then analyze using HPLC. Any sugestions

OASIS HLB: you can condition de column with 1 ml methanol, equilibrate with 1 ml of water, load 1 ml sample, wash with 1 ml MeOH:H2O (5:95) and elute with 1ml methanol. All this in case that you are working with C18 cartridge 60 mg.
Also, you have to know the behavior of your drugs
