I'm trying to isolate a lipid hydroperoxide, HPODE. I need to do this on a preparative scale (~100mg).
I used to use Mallinckrodt SilicAR CC4 column material, using 9:1 hexane:diethyl ether to elute non-reacted lipids, with 20% diethyl ether to elute HPODE.
However, this column material is no longer available.
Does anyone know of an alternative?
